On June 2, 2012, Summerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church will be celebrating 25 years in that building. Although the congregation has been around much longer, they have been in their facility located at 108 North Pine St. for 25 years and that is a cause for celebration!  

The festivities began with an evening service on Wednesday May 30th at 7PM. The speaker for that event was our own pastor, Divine Ayivor.  On Friday June 1, 2012 there will be another evening service.  The speaker for the occasion will be Elder Hannah Walker-Johnson.  The event will culminate in a service to be held on June 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM, where the speaker will be Pastor Moses Edwards.  Following the service will be a luncheon to be held in the fellowship hall of Baums Temple.  The theme for the event is "Great is Thy Faithfulness".

Pastors and members from other churches throughout the South Atlantic Conference as well as several non-Adventist churches have been invited to attend the event.

Invitations to members of the press and town officials have been sent out as well.  It is sure to be a joyous occasion.
