Playing its first semi-final game, Ashley Ridge fell to Greenwood 36-21 Friday, ending its season at 10-4.
The Swamp Foxes won the Region 8 AAAA championship, and were seeded No. 3 at the beginning of playoffs.
Greenwood will go on to play 13-1 Goose Creek, which defeated North Augusta Friday.
