Children Transported to Hospital After School Bus Wreck

Twelve children were transported to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after a wreck involving a school bus off of College Park Road.

The transport to Trident was "just to be checked out" and no other injuries were reported in the multiple vehicle wreck.

According to S.C. Highway Patrol, the bus was attempting to make a left turn onto College Park when an SUV ran through the red light and struck the bus. The impact pushed the bus into two other vehicles that were stopped at the light.
