The Post and Courier reports:
Neighbors said they saw that a door window at the home had been broken, but deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office would not confirm whether they were investigating a home invasion.
According to the incident report released Monday, Young's girlfriend had dropped him off at the house an hour before deputies were called out for a suspected stabbing. The woman was on her way to Manning when she turned around to come back due to the incident.
Young was discovered by a neighbor, lying in the kitchen. He was unresponsive with no pulse when deputies arrived.
