Coroner: Woman Shot in the Head

Body found Saturday at I-26 exit identified.

The Berkeley County Coroner's Office has identified the body of a woman found early Saturday morning at the off-ramp of Intestate 26 at Jedburg Road.

Luh Endang Susiani, 31, of Indonesia, died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to Deputy Berkeley County Coroner Kristin Demmerle.

Deputies were called after Susiani's body was found shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday. The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office later arrested Tyler Brown-Kelly, 28, in St. George. He has been charged with murder and faces a bond hearing at 9 a.m. Monday morning.

The North Charleston Police Department had told other offices to be on the look out for a vehicle in which a female had been kidnapped at gunpoint about midnight from 5633-G Dorchester Road, according to Berkeley County Sheriff's spokesman Dan Moon.
