A Budget rental truck parked outside the AutoZone on North Main Street caught on fire Friday afternoon, destroying the contents of its cargo box and melting part of the AutoZone sign, according to C & B Fire Department Capt. Ryan Hall.
Hall said the fire originated in the box of the truck, which was filled with contents as the renter was moving from one house to another.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown, according to Hall.
