The debate was by the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce and the Summerville Journal Scene.
Candidates featured are:
- S.C. House District 97 Republican candidates Jordan Bryngelson and Ed Carter
- S.C. Senate District 38 challenger Sean Bennett
- Dorchester County Council District 4 challenger John Hull
- Dorchester County Sheriff L.C. Knight
S.C. Senate District 38 incumbent Mike Rose, Dorchester County Council District 4 incumbent Larry Hargett, Dorchester County Council District 6 incumbent Bill Hearn and challenger Roger Goodman, and Dorchester County Sheriff challenger Mike Turner were unable to attend.
The primary is June 12.
