State Accommodation Tax Doled Out to Local Orgs
More than $100,000 given to Summerville organizations to help draw tourism.
Events and organizations that draw tourism to Summerville received more than $100,000 in the state accomodation tax last week, the Journal Scene reported.
While more than $200,000 was requested, the advisory committee settled on these amounts:

| Summerville DREAM | $11,000 |
| YMCA | $35,626 |
