Dorchester County deputies and U.S. Marshals were involved in a car chase and then a foot chase Wednesday as two wanted men tried to elude custody with a third man, not wanted by authorities.

The chase ended near the Regal Azalea Square Stadium 16 movie theater. The two wanted men were apprehended but the third ran into the movie theater. Law enforcement said the man had no warrants and was not taken into custody.

Another man tried to ditch U.S. Marshals by escaping through a golf course two months ago. But he was caught when golfers pointed law enforcement in the direction of his travel.
