What Should Go Here? Former Dealership on Trolley
What would you like to see at this Trolley Road intersection?
This is a repeat from earlier in the year, but the building remains vacant, so we've decided to feature it again: what should go at this former dealership on Trolley Road?
Tell us in the comments!
About this column: Every week or so, Patch will post a picture of a vacant store or lot in Summerville. You can tell us what you think should replace the empty space. Know of an empty building we should highlight? E-mail lindsay.street@patch.com.

This building was designed for one specific reason...Auto service and sales. It is an eyesore that would require costly landscaping to make it a desirable property. New car dealerships are avoiding this location leaning more to Hwy 17A. Extensive face- lifting and mild landscaping could result in a new library with attached Summerville museum.

I love the library and Summerville museum idea, Tom!
Here are what some of our readers on Facebook are saying:
Wanda Prince: anything at this point............
Michelle Sheehan: EARTH FARE
Dianna Turman Flake: Barnes and Noble. Costco. Hobby Lobby.
Jessica Whybark-Shepherd: The Farmers Market
Pat Day Baremore Whitely: I agree with Jessica - an indoor/outdoor farmers market, great central location!
Shannon Jerrome Phillips: How about the NASTY Heritage Square building at the corner of 78 and Berlin G??? I go by it numerous times a day and it makes me cringe each time!!!!
Martine Boudreaux: Wild wings!
Brandi J. Shiell: Nothing, we use it a lot for fundraiser for baseball. It always does really well! I am just being a little selfish.... Wild Wings would be great!
Janelle Quick: I'm with Michelle! Earth Fare or Whole Foods

I don't know- but every time I look at it, I see the economy tanking. Several businesses have gone out of business on Old Trolley since the '08 meltdown, and this reminds me of it. A Whole Foods or Earth Fare, or Barnes & Noble with a Starbucks inside would be great! I could go there and read and have a hot cup of something.

I don not know if this would be a good location, but I think Summerville could use a cafeteria....

Barnes & Noble would be nice. The B&N in N. Charleston is in a terrible location (the most insane and frustrating parking lot in the area).
