By now, everyone knows who's going first and second in the 2012 NFL Draft, which begins tonight on ESPN and runs through the weekend.

Quarterbacks Andrew Luck of Stanford and Robert Griffin III of Baylor will be the first top picks, to Indianapolis and Washington, respectively.

But after that, it's still anyone's guess.

It could be Alabama running back Trent Richardson. It could be offensive tackle Matt Kalil of Southern Cal. Or it could be Justin Blackmon on Oklahoma State.

But there are at least five top players with Palmetto State ties who hope to hear their names called earlier than later in the draft.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore from the University of South Carolina, linebacker Melvin Ingram from USC, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery from USC, defensive end Andre Branch from Clemson and tight end Dwayne Allen from Clemson are all projected to be among the top 50 off the board, according to DraftTek.

Another player with South Carolina ties, wide receiver Brian Quick of Ridge View High School (by way of Appalachian State University), is expected to be picked in the first couple of rounds.
