15 pounds or 59 pounds...you choose

Happy Monday!

I am so excited to write you this week, because I leave on Wednesday for the Take Shape for Life national training convention in Washington, DC! I am looking forward to several days of continuing education, mentoring, and personal growth so that I can better serve you as a health coach.

This particular tip this week is mainly for myself! I read this habit and was convicted that too often I never stop working.

Here you go:

From Dr. A's Blog

Choosing your hours at work may sound like a great perk, but it can make it tougher to call it a day. People who control their schedule usually take more calls and send more email in the evening, research from the University of Toronto suggests. To lead a more balanced life, set strict limits for yourself- power down the iPhone after 7pm!

Encouragement  testimony for the week:

I just got off the phone with a client who is on day 59 of his weight loss journey today. Back story: he started going to the gym in February 5 days a week to exercise and lose weight. After 3.5 months, he had lost 15 pounds. May 17 he started with me on Take Shape for Life. As of today, he has lost 59.5 pounds! (results not typical, typical weight loss is up to 2-5 pounds a week). I am so excited to be part of his journey!

Here is an interesting data calculator I found for determining how your weight compares to the rest of the world:

Have a great day and wonderful week!
