Former Israeli agent Gabriel Allon is attempting to retire from his life as a spy. These efforts come to an abrupt end when terrorist bombings occur in Paris, Copenhagen and finally London, where Allon is vacationing with his wife, Chiara.  Many details of this latest novel by Daniel Silva seem ripped from today’s news as Allon joins an effort to infiltrate Saudi-funded extremist groups. From Langley, Va. to Dubai, the action and intrigue are sure to entertain, right down to the last page. Silva writes in a literary, but fast-paced style that is a pleasure to read. Add to this his strong characters and engaging, intelligent plot lines, and you have lots of fun between two covers!
