Summer Afternoon Game Days Year 4 kick off with 3-Dimensional board games: Niagara, Mord im Arosa and Cleopatra and the Society of Architects. We’ll teach you how to play!

What better way to while away the hot afternoon hours than playing board games in air conditioned comfort? So, to help you have fun and stay cool this summer, we’re hosting Summer Afternoon Games at Here Be Books & Games - now in its fourth year! Each week we'll introduce a new set of games that share some theme. You don’t have know the games in order to join in on the fun. We’ll teach you how to play!

Admission is FREE. Come by yourself or bring a friend along. Adults and kids* 10 and up are welcome. (*Kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.) Please give us at least 24 hours notice for groups of 3 or more.

What to bring: if you have folding chairs, please bring 'em.  Drinks are available for purchase at the store.

Here Be Books and Games is a used bookstore and game store that carries a wide variety of genres, titles, categories and authors in the book department, as well as designer board games, card games, role-playing games and dice. The shop is an authorized retailer for top RPG brand names like Dwarven Stones, Dwarven Metals, Piatnik playing cards, Crystal Caste and other fantasy role-playing game dice. The store also buys and trades books and has a variety of titles listed on its Web site. The shop itself is located in the Oakbrook Square shopping plaza next to Philly's restaurant and Hair Changes salon.
