DESCRIPTION:Austin and Cassie are a fairly new collision of voices and m
 usical influences\, made two months ago through a chance encounter put t
 ogether by a certain Catherine Steele from The Bridge at 105.5.  Austin
  has been playing guitar since the age of 11\, influenced by the likes o
 f John Mayer and Ray Lamontagne. Cassie Verhaeghe\, daughter of aforemen
 tioned radio dj\, has been singing since her vocal chords were able to s
 trike any note at all. She found influence in the sounds of Ben Harper\,
  Lauryn Hill\, and Etta James. Both have been a part of previous project
 s and groups\, but are now working towards building a catalog of songs a
 ll their own.
