Established in 1898, St John The Beloved Catholic Church has weaved its abundant life within Summerville's history. St John was the first brick structure in Summerville. The church is alive with care for its parishioners and the community. There are senior activities, as well as a children's choir. Worship consists of the partaking of the holy sacrament and contemporary praise and worship while maintaining the rich symbolism of its faith.
