Phillip Enright, a young American boy living on a Caribbean island during World War II, leaves the war-ridden island with his mother for the safety of the U.S. While on the journey, their ship is sunk, and Phillip is knocked unconscious. When he awakes, he discovers he is alone on a raft save for a cat and an old West Indian deckhand named Timothy. Phillip must learn to overcome his racial prejudice and his blindness in order to learn to survive.

More About Flowertown Players
This historic building is a former picture house that has been transformed into a performing arts center. The Flowertown Players theater company performs family-oriented, kid-friendly productions on the small stage. Occasionally, the company presents shows geared towards adult audiences, such as The Rocky Horror Show. Theater-goers receive complimentary sodas and popcorn during intermissions. The Flowertown Players are available for private performances of productions.
