SWU involved in summer feeding program

Southern Wesleyan University’s adult evening program will be hosting a food drive at the Charleston learning center at 4055 Faber Place Drive
in Charleston this summer to help reduce childhood hunger in the Lowcountry.

Many children are fed through school programs during the school year and go hungry during the summer months. SWU Charleston will waive the application fee for new students who donate and current students will compete to see which class brings in the most food. In support of these efforts, SWU will recognize the winning class with a pizza party. In addition, the Charleston location will serve as a collection site for the local campaign. For details, contact Grile at (843) 266-7981 ext. 5635 or email dgrile@swu.edu.

With regional education centers conveniently located across South Carolina, as well as fully online programs for select degrees, Southern Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered, student-focused learning community devoted to transforming lives by challenging students to be dedicated scholars and servant-leaders who impact the world for Christ.
