24 Years Later: What's Your Hurricane Hugo Memory? (Video)

What was it like to travel between Goose Creek and Summerville the day after Hurricane Hugo? Check out this video.

Saturday, Sept. 21, marked the 24th anniversary of Hurricane Hugo's landfall.

The day after, no one in the state of S.C. east of 1-95 had power, according to SCE&G. In 18 days, more than 2,000 employees and 7,000 contractors and workers from other utilities had power restored, safely.

Youtube user Richard Wood posted his drive between Goose Creek and Summerville the day after. Watch the video above.
