Summerville DREAM (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and Management) presents this event.
Costume contest for patriotic garb, and contest for Best Uncle Sam and best Lady Liberty. People, Places and Quilts will sponsor this contest and will be offering $25 in DREAM gift certificates for the best costume in each category.
Winners will help to lead off the parade around Hutchinson Square at 7 p.m. following the Honor Guard and new Mayor Bill Collins.
