Third Thursday in Historic Downtown Summerville

Third Thursday on Sept. 20th will feature the debut of an exciting new event from the newly-formed Summerville Restaurant Association—a Summerville Sweet Tea Festival!  Eleven wonderful Summerville restaurants will be set up on Hutchinson Square in tents offering tastes of their versions of Sweet Tea as well as tastes of their menu specialties for $1-$3 each. Purchase a commemorative Sweet Tea mug for $5.00 and you can try all the restaurants’ sweet tea drinks for free and vote for your favorite one. Live music will be all over town as well as the Art Walk on Short Central with artists and artisans displaying their work.  Other local community groups and businesses will be set up throughout on Hutchinson Square as well to inform, entertain and entice with goodies and giveaways.
