Third Thursday Features Sam Singleton, Drum Circle

Do you dance to the beat of a different drummer? 

Two different musical styles — a collaberative drum circle and a soul singer — will be on display.

On Hutchinson Square, all are welcome to join a community drum circle event. Bring any type of percussion instrument or check one out in Hutchinson Square, and a chair. Drum circle begins 5 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m.

Short Central will feature The Soulful Sam Singleton, a recent inductee to the Omaha Black Music Hall of Fame and a Charleston resident. Singleton performs around the Lowcountry singing songs from 60s and 70s and some classic standards.

Short Central is also the location of the ArtWalk.
