Nason Medical Opens on Ladson Road

Starting Saturday, Sept. 1, Summerville and Ladson area residents have a new option for emergency and urgent medical care.

Nason Medical Center will opens its doors at the intersection of Midland Parkway and Ladson Road — it's the medical facility's first entrance into the Summerville market. The free-standing facility includes everything necessary for Nason’s physicians to diagnose and treat most any medical emergency a patient might have, seven days a week.

Bankfield Holding Company LLC is the parent firm supporting operations of all Nason Medical Centers.

"This is a special day for all of us. For many years we’ve planned to come to the Summerville area," Bankfield CEO Bob Hamilton said.

Nason has four centers in North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and James Island. Wait times are typically 12 minutes.
