Jana Nicole Reynolds, 18, a senior at Northwood Academy, passed away December 31, 2012.
Born in Charleston, she was the daughter of Janice Reynolds and James Roy. She loved art, drama and going to musicals with her mom. Jana was a member of the journalism class and yearbook club at Northwood. She attended Northwood Church.

She is survived by her parents, Janice Reynolds of Goose Creek and James Roy of Hanahan; maternal grandparents, Anna and Edward Reynolds of Goose Creek; paternal grandparent, Rowena Vogel of Hanahan; four uncles, Edward Reynolds, Jr. and wife Pilar of Charleston, Robert Roy of North Charleston, Taube Roy and wife Sheila of Columbia and Brian Roy and fiancé Holly of Moncks Corner; three aunts, Karen Killian of Aynor, Patty Medly and husband Donnie of North Charleston and Kimberly Vest and husband Brian of Virginia. Jana is also survived by many extended family members, friends and classmates.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Northwood Church, 2600 North Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 St. James Avenue.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Doc Williams SPCA or Habitat for Humanity.
