JoAnn Bracewell Rainear, 71, of Hanahan, wife of Robert E. Rainear, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Trident Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 7 o’clock PM at Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, North Charleston and on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7 o’clock PM at First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon, 120 S. Railroad Avenue, Mt. Vernon, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Building Fund, Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, N. Charleston, SC 29406 or to First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon, Mt. Vernon, GA 30445.
JoAnn was born on May 4, 1941 in Glenwood, GA, daughter of the late William H. Bracewell and Addy Lee Nasworthy Bracewell. She was a graduate of Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, GA as an Interior Designer. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Northwood Baptist Church. She was a retired sales manager for S & K Men’s Wear.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: Two Sons: James “Larry” Taylor of Macon, GA and James R. Rainear (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC; Two Daughters: Patricia L. Moses (David) of Hanahan and Jennifer L. Rainear of Charleston; Four Granddaughters and One Grandson.
