Is Trident Tech is taking money that should be going to our public schools?

If you have paid your car tax, home tax, state tax or even bought a lottery ticket, you are giving money to Trident Tech.My question is why is our tax money going to the local college and not our C rated elementary,middle and high schools here in Summerville. Tax office said any county that has a trident tech campus,is a county paying tax money to trident tech.While Trident Tech continues to expand,our local public schools continue to suffer. When Tax office was asked How can I change this and get more money for our public schools the response was " Go to a Town Meeting if they will listen". I think it may be a possibility Trident Tech has a back room deal that involves taking our tax money.
