Cops and Calabash Aids Special Olympics

Cops and Calabash raises money for Special Olympics.

The Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge No. 3 is teaming up with Fatz Café to raise money for South Carolina Special Olympics.

The event, Cops and Calabash, will be held all day 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday at Fatz Café located at Tanger Outlet Mall in North Charleston.

Members of the Fraternal Order of Police and area law enforcement officers will be present and waiting on tables in an effort to raise money for our local athletic programs.

"The amount of support and unselfish generosity shown by the Law Enforcement and Civilian Community through the years has been outstanding," said Charleston County Sheriff's Major James Brady. "Please come out once again and enjoy lunch or dinner. By doing so, you are supporting a great cause that will make a real difference in the life of very special people."

For information on the event please contact Charelston County Sgt. Harold Phillips by cell phone 843-296-1171  office 843-740-3107 or hphillips@charlestoncounty.org
