Have Your Seen This Man?

Summerville Police say a Summerville home invasion could be linked to Charleston incident.

Summerville Police are teaming up with Charleston Police to track down a suspect they say is responsible for two home invasions in their jurisdictions.

A police sketch has been released. The man pictured is thought to be one of two men involved in the crimes.

On June 14, two unmasked Vietnamese men knocked on a victim’s door in Summerville, asking for his daughter by name. Once the victim answered the door, the two men, who were wearing gloves, entered the victim’s residence by force and asked about money. The victim’s grandchildren were present during the incident but were told to go into a bedroom. The suspects forced the victim into a bedroom where he was bound with his hands behind his back and his eyes covered. The victim was moved into a bathroom by the suspects, while the suspects searched the entire residence. It is believed the suspects stayed inside the residence for an hour or longer searching for money. The suspects stole $400 in cash and $4,500 in jewelry from the residence. The children were unharmed during this incident.
