Hat's off to Sen. rose and those who are staring 3 free medical clinics for the low income and elderly. This is a much needed service in our community. A lot of folks are afraid of running up medical bills and being unable to pay them plus the high cost of medicines. In Rochester, NY we ran a mobile medical unit that covered the city and looked for those that were homeless and checked on our senior to make sure they were OK. The Unit was staffed by volunteer Dr's. an nurses. and was very successful in improving the health and wellbeing of those who use the services. We we able to head of a number of serious illnesses as a result.

I think it is a great idea...I am reluctant to believe when something is advertised as FREE especially when made near election time by an individual running for office. Great if it works...Ever hear the adage "A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage?" Roosevelt?

@Tom Musolf: '... "A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage?" Roosevelt?' '1928 A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage – Herbert Hoover...Claims that the everyone will be prosperous under a Hoover presidency...' http://www.presidentsusa.net/1928slogan.html oh/and the wealth distribution then 1928 was 1:99 (rich to po) and guess what happened in 1929...history does repeat (2008) when we fail to realize voodoo economics trickles UP not DOWN...
