County Issues $1.7M Bond for Water, Sewer

Dorchester County Council gives final approval for bond; proceeds to buy land for water and sewer department.

County Council has approved final reading of an ordinance creating a $1.7 million bond for the purchase of land.

Bond money raised will go toward the purchase of 325 Deming Way for the Water and Sewer department. See the bond's language in the attached document to the right of this story.

Council voted 6-0 with Councilman David Chinnis absent from Monday's meeting to approve the final reading.
