Haley Continues to Deep-Six VP Rumors
The S.C. governor has had her name kicked around as possible running-mate material, despite her insistence on not accepting a potential offer.
The only aim Gov. Nikki Haley is taking at the vice presidency is to shoot it down as a possibility in the media. On Friday in Summerville, the governor was emphatic when speaking to reporters.
"I'm absolutely not going to take or accept any vice presidency," Haley said.

But like the speculation of late presidential hopefuls hopping late into the race, Haley's potential VP nomination will likely not be laid to rest until there is a fully formed Republican ticket.
There is a ghosttown-like Facebook page, with 10 likes, promoting the idea of placing her on a ticket alongside the GOP nominee. And FITSNews, a self-proclaimed "unfair" and "imbalanced" website, has also mulled the idea of Haley for VP.

Just last month, Business Insider dubbed her among the top leaders on the VP shortlist.
Haley still has not endorsed a Republican candidate for president, similar to other state leaders like Sen. Jim DeMint and Rep. Tim Scott.
