Summerville Country Club offers free shag dance lessons every Monday under the Pavillion. Junior lessons begin at 6pm followed by adult lessons at 7pm. An open dance from 8pm to 10pm with DJ Sharon Johnson closes out the night. Originating in the 1920's, Shag dancing is a fun, lively style of swing dancing that is enjoyed among all age groups.
