Summerville Green Wave cornerback Darin Smalls committed to play University of South Carolina Gamecock football Saturday, Live 5 News reported.
The TV station reported:
"Last year he had 58 tackles and 5 interceptions plus 3 return touchdowns. He also added 6 interceptions his sophomore season."

Virginia Tech, Florida State, N.C. State, Tennessee and Georgia Tech offered to the junior Green Wave player. The Gamecocks were the first to offer to Smalls in December.
