Lady Green Wave Shut Out in Championship Series

Boiling Springs nabs its first state championship title in five innings.

If Boiling Springs was hot during its win in Summerville Monday night, it was even hotter on the team's home turf Wednesday.

The Bulldogs had three home runs in four innings and crushed the Green Wave 11-0 before the mercy rule was called in the fifth inning to end the second game of the series and hopes for a Summerville AAAA softball state championship title.
