The Post and Courier has selected two Summerville Green Wave players for its top 10 football players in the Lowcountry list.
The publication, which ranked Stratford High QB Jacob Park at No. 1, listed Summerville's defensive back Darin Smalls at No. 3 and tight end Sean Smith at No 8.
Coach John McKissick provided this insight into the players:
- On Smalls: “He has athleticism and listens well. That’s a good combination.”
- On Smith: "He’s getting better every time we practice. He’s going to be a Division I player, too.”
