Summerville skateboarders give check to town for new skate park.

Summerville skateboarders raised funds for the town's new skate park, and gave a check to Town Council Monday during the finance committee meeting.

Mayor Bill Collins was pleased with the more than $650 raised by the children and their parents.

"In my first year in office this is the first time anyone has ever brought us any money, I expect this is a trend," Collins said.
