Ok, to answer the subject line on how to diet for nine months: you can't. It just doesn't work.
Nobody ever diets for 9 months. It just doesn't happen. People MAYBE diet for 90 days, but I got to see first-hand that something had radically changed in my friend's life. Our midwife in Texas lost 100 pounds in nine months during our second pregnancy — but not because of a "diet."
I'm so glad she decided to jump in with Take Shape for Life, a weight loss program I'm a coach for.
It's definitely not a diet! I am continually reminded that dieting doesn't work —usually while I'm in the checkout line at the grocery store.
Watched Katia (our midwife in Texas) not just lose weight but change her entire life, helped me change mine. That is one thing that really helped me get started with Take Shape for Life.
I realized as I was on the program that I really had discovered an amazing tool that I would be able to use not only to reach my healthy weight, but, also, to stay at a healthy weight, AND I can use it to help others too!
