The Summer House is a beautifully-preserved, three-story plantation-style home built in the late 1800s in the heart of Historic Downtown Summerville. Originally a boarding house, the open space is used today as a venue for family and friends to gather for weddings, receptions, corporate events and other affairs. The Summer House offers exceptional full-service, on-site catering and comfortably seats 70 in the dining room. The veranda and back lawn can also be used to accomodate larger groups. The Summer House's rental fee uniquely includes tables, chairs, white-linen tablecloths, centerpieces, set up, take down and clean up.
