Charleston Regional Business Journal Reports Summerville company's assets will go to North Charleston.
A small fertilizing manufacturer is closing up here, according to the Charleston Regional Business Journal. In a Tuesday story, the journal reports: A small fertilizer manufacturing company in Summerville has ceased operations and sold its physical assets to an Ohio company with a production facility in North Charleston. X-Calibur Plant Health Co., which has been operating in Summerville for about seven years, sold its manufacturing equipment, including a fertilizer coating line and handling, processing and packaging equipment, to Everris Americas, according to the company’s business consultant.
